Kingston is beautiful throughout the year but especially at Christmas, whether you’re shopping for gifts, celebrating in local bars or restaurants, enjoying shows at the local theatre or immersing yourself in the magic of Christmas by enjoying the Christmas Market.
The Christmas Market returns on Thursday 14th November, on the same date that the Christmas lights are turned on in Kingston.
Kingston becomes Christmassy on Thursday 14th November 2019, get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy the entertainment throughout the town centre from 4.30pm. There will be a packed schedule including a traditional brass band, light-up drummers, balloon modelling, stilt walkers and entertainment on stage.
The lights will be officially turned on at 6pm with a little bit of snow magic by the Snow Queen herself!!
Kingston Christmas Market
The Market can be located just ahead of All Saint’s Church and adds a special touch of festive cheer to the Kingston.
The Market includes traditional wooden cabins, with handmade giftware, stockings and unique gifts. There are bars serving up steaming mugs of mulled wine and the street food is fantastic. On Thursday 14th there will be live entertainment on stage and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows.
This is the perfect way to get into the Christmas Spirit, we have made sure all of our Kingston students are aware in Bright House and Greencoat House.
In case you don’t make the Christmas lights on celebration you really should visit the market at some point, you will not be disappointed!
