Putting your health and safety first

AMRO Vantage are constantly adapting to the evolving situation that COVID-19 brings. It is important to take this opportunity to express how grateful we are to our residents and team members for their support whilst we have all be navigating through these unusual times.
We want to assure our residents arriving this coming academic year that their health and well-being remain our primary focus and as such, we are always working to offer the safest living environment. Our team are on hand as a source of support to every one of our residents and we are fully committed to ensuring they are working to UK Government guidance and completing necessary training.
Our team members have put in place social distancing measures (managed through signage) throughout all our sites and encourage communication from residents via e-Mail and telephone. In addition, we have been increasing the frequency of cleaning all touch point areas (such as handles and lift buttons), introduced hand sanitiser stations and one-way systems.
We will keep our residents updated on any changes to official guidance, and the team are always happy to assist with any concerns or questions you may have. We all want to make sure that despite these times, every resident is thriving during their time living in our properties.

How will life be on site from September?

We are so excited to not only welcome back some of our past residents, but to also welcome all of those who are moving in with us for the first time! Whilst the world adjusts to ‘living with Covid-19’, naturally, this brings a great deal of uncertainty to our everyday lives. We want to reassure our residents and their loved ones that what we are fully committed to providing a safe, clean and HAPPY living experience.

Our teams are continuously monitoring and adhering to UK Government guidance to ensure that your time with us keeps everyone as protected as possible. We have been operating to these guidelines since they were implemented and will continue to do so. All of that said, we can’t wait to get back to running regular events and plans, ensuring our residents get settled in and can begin the memory making journey that attending University brings. We encourage all of our residents to follow our social media channels so they can keep up to date on what is happening and when.

Do we have to wear face coverings?

We will be continuing to monitor guidance with reference to the use of face coverings as standard. Our advice is, for both residents and team members, to wear face coverings when social distancing cannot be adhered to. We will not be requesting team members to wear them doing reception and other general duties, however, they may be seen wearing them when they need to enter flats.

Will I need to self-isolate when I move in?

If you are coming to the UK to study, it may be necessary to quarantine for a period, if indicated by the UK Government. The team members on property can work with you should this be the case, and if you want to check availability to move-in earlier to accommodate this period of quarantine. Get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can ensure a smooth process can be implemented.

Can I have visitors?

Please check with the on site team prior to welcoming visitors as this can change according to guidance very quickly.

What is the moving in process like?

Once you have returned your signed contract, we will send through arrival information. Upon return, you will need to book a moving-in slot which will be a specific day and time. This is very important to do as we will be spreading out the times of residents moving in to the same flat – so social distancing is strictly adhered to. In addition, you will only be allowed one other person from your existing household to help you move in to the flat. During moving in, we will implement one-way systems, such as going up by lift, but coming down using the stairs. This will be explained when you arrive. We ask also that you wear face coverings and not to arrive too early or late for your slot.
