Who can live with us?
Amro Vantage provide accommodation for students of all genders and nationalities who are enrolled on a full-time higher education course in the UK, and who are a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of check-in.
Note: you can book a room when you are 17 years of age or over, but can only move-in if you are 18 years or over.
What is the contract length?

What is included in the room rental?
The rent is all- inclusive and covers your water, gas and electricity bills, super fast internet access and contents insurance. The rent does not include any TV licenses for private television sets or any other costs that are not stated here.
What do I need to pay before I arrive?

What other charges can I expect?
You would be expected to pay for your use of the laundry and your TV licence.
Can I choose my room in the building?
Rooms are allocated on a first come first served basis. So if you would like to select your room, we advise you to book as early as possible. If you have any special requests regarding your room please let us know at the time of your booking and we will do our best to try and accommodate these.
How do I arrange a viewing?
You can arrange a viewing by completing our Arrange a Viewing form. Alternatively, please email or call us and we will arrange a convenient time to show you around.
What time is my check in and check out?
Check-out time is 10 am on your contract end date.
Standard check-in times are from 8am to 6pm on check-in weekends. Alternatively we can pre-arrange alternative times for your check-in.
Can I move in early or extend my stay?
Are there social events organised for the residents?
There are a number of social events organised throughout the year to provide our residents an opportunity to get to know each other. We would be delighted to see you at our events.
Is there a member of staff available at all times?
Yes. Our premises ares serviced 24 hours.
Will I have Internet in my room?
Will my room be cleaned?
At Amro Vantage, our housekeeping teams on-site clean all communal areas on a daily basis. Students are expected to keep their own bedrooms, share kitchens and bathroom areas clean.
Will I have a TV in my room?
Our bedrooms do not have TVs in them. However, you are welcome to bring your own. Just so that you know, in the UK, a TV licence must be purchased by the owner of a TV set.
What happens if I need any maintenance in my room?

Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes you have laundry rooms with a number of washers and dryers which you can use 24/7.
What household items do I have to bring with me?
Residents are required to bring their own bedding, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Can I smoke in my room?
Smoking in our premises is against the law, however there are areas that are specifically designated as smoking areas.
How do I collect my post?
Our staff are available to collect parcels at reception area and each resident will have their own secure mailbox.
Am I allowed to have guests?
Following Government guidelines regarding Covid-19 we are currently operating a no guests policy.
Which room types are suitable for double occupancy?
We do have a few studios that are suitable and comfortable for double occupancy at Greencoat House and at Riverside Way. Please let us know at the time of your inquiry or booking. Both occupants of the room must be full-time students at a UK higher educational Institution, and must be over the age of 18 years.
I have booked a room but failed to obtain a visa, can I cancel my booking?
You are entitled to cancel your booking in the event that your visa does not come through in time. However, we would ask you for proof of your visa being refused.
Can I cancel my booking?
Upon receipt of the email confirming your booking, there is a 7 day cooling off period whereby you may cancel your booking by sending notice to the site via email. Email addresses can be found on their respective web pages.
You may cancel your booking by sending an email to the relevant Accommodation Manager email address listed on the individual property pages. Amro will refund your deposit/booking fee within 14 calendar days of cancellation. If you cancel your booking after the 7 calendar day cool off period, you will not get your deposit/booking fee returned to you. You and your guarantor if reasonable, will be required to meet the obligations set out within the Tenancy Agreement.
